Proposal 2
Message from Provost Teresa A. Sullivan regarding U-M admissions
January 3, 2007
Because of recent legal developments, University of Michigan Provost Teresa Sullivan has asked faculty and admissions professionals to delay making any new admissions decisions until Jan. 10 while the University considers its next steps. This pause applies to undergraduate, transfer, Rackham graduate programs, non-Rackham graduate programs, and professional programs. Admitting offices may communicate to applicants any admissions decisions that were made on or before Dec. 29, 2006.
During this brief pause, admitting offices will continue to accept applications from students to University of Michigan academic programs. Prospective students are encouraged to submit their applications for the specific programs as early as possible within the published deadlines.
